Hello guys,

I live in France, I applied for an e-visa for my wife who is Moroccan, on November 28, 2023. To this day, I still have no news. Our departure is for January 9, 2024 and return is for January 24, 2024. If on the day of departure, we have no news about the e-visa, can we still leave and request a visa exemption on site?

Thanks a lot for your answers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for an e-visa for their Moroccan wife with no response after over a month and is concerned about travel plans to Thailand. Community responses emphasize that Moroccan passport holders typically require a pre-approved visa, and boarding a flight without one may result in denial of entry. Suggestions include contacting visa authorities for updates on the application status.

Moroccan passport holders need a pre-bought visa to enter Thailand. You probably won’t get on your flight without one but if you managed to you would be refused entry and would need to return.
