you can open your bank account in Phillip bank with just tourist visa. Also it's easy to change from tourist to business visa or get work permit.

in Cambodia, you can open a bank account without long-term visa and it's with a good interest (already have it). Also getting a long-term visa is very easy - working on it right now.

i heard that it's difficult, but the immigration officer didn't ask me a single question even though I visit Thailand a lot, smiled at me and that was it! I was surprised as well🤣
