in Cambodia, you can open a bank account without long-term visa and it's with a good interest (already have it). Also getting a long-term visa is very easy - working on it right now.
i heard that it's difficult, but the immigration officer didn't ask me a single question even though I visit Thailand a lot, smiled at me and that was it! I was surprised as well🤣
