Hello, I got this written comment on my stamp at the immigration when leaving Thailand. Does anyone know what it means? Just curious. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The comment '1' written on your immigration stamp indicates that you have utilized one of the two free 30-day visa-exempt entries allowed by land within a calendar year. This means you entered Thailand under a visa-exempt status, and it's important to be aware of your stamp's expiration and potential options for extension.

ahh, If I had to guess I'd say that was there already and she didn't notice it

That's an entry stamp and they usually number then when you ENTER the country and get the stamp not as you stamp OUT of the country, unless she was exiting at another land border to come right back in when they were numbering them to mark how many she'd gotten

i'm more amazed you got IN to thailand back on Oct 23 at the aranyaprathet / poipet border ๐Ÿ˜› that is a really HARD border to get in to thailand on easily

i heard that it's difficult, but the immigration officer didn't ask me a single question even though I visit Thailand a lot, smiled at me and that was it! I was surprised as well๐Ÿคฃ

you left the country TODAY and went to cambodia?

If so that was the land border officer marking in your passport that you'd gotten one free entry by land (if indeed that was the only free entry stamp you got by land this year ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Most people are allowed TWO free 30 day entry stamps by land in a calendar year, and most borders number them when you get the stamp, guess yours decided to number the stamp when you left..

That is not a written 'comment' it's a 1 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Meaning you used ONE of the TWO free 30 day visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year when you entered at the Aranyaprathet/Poipet land border.
