Hi, yesterday I canceled my B Visa and got the Covid extension, so I'm just gonna share my experience hoping it might help someone.

At 10:30, I went to the Immigration in Samut Prakon to get my working visa canceled - it took some time.

I was hoping I could get my visa extension there as well, but they told me that as my address was registered in Bangkok I had to go to Chaeng Wattana.

I got there past 12:00 and there were many chairs prepared for people with queue numbers.

Even though I didn't have a number the officer told me to sit down there. There are 2 sections - 1-30 and 31 - 270, but then they send everyone to the latter section to wait. Also, they sent people in based on the chair numbers, so if you want to get in quickly, be careful.

I had my passport and visa stamp copies + TM7 copy + photos and the document for visa extension with me.

As I just canceled Non-B visa, they sent me to the M2-55 counter to get further documents and then the queue number.

Documents they gave me to fill in:

1. Document about overstaying and fines

2. Another document (sorry, forgot the name, but the usual one)

3. Document about why I need to extend my stay (actually, I didn't know which reason to check, so I left it blank)

Then they wanted my TM30 copy and a copy of my canceled visa.

Then I got no.72 to queue and about 15 mins. later, I was called in, so it was much faster that I'd have expected.

Got out around 14:30 with a visa stamp until 27 September.

Thanks for the update. FOR BANGKOK ONLY, the forms required for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 can be found in the "Files" tab in the group
