Thank you all for taking the time to help. I think a non o single or multiple entry would fit our circumstances. Our only ‘reason’ on the form would be visiting friends and staying at our property, rather than the Thai spouse/family visits. I find the whole visa options mind blowing, but wanted to avoid having the drama of the 30 day extension in Samui immigration. When we come for 3 months, and have the return flight booked, then we just wanted a visa that would reflect this. Interestingly enough last year we used Royal Vacation to sort everything ( because of the Thai pass etc) and they automatically applied for the 60 day plus extension. I’m curious as to why they didn’t recommend the non o 🤷🏻♀️
Different source, different information. I’m simply going with information from a reputable established travel agency based in Thailand rather a rag that’s all 🤷🏻♀️
arrive or apply? He arrives before, and has applied before. I arrive after, but have applied ( as he has) before. The email I received from RV said that there is no need to re apply for our Thailand pass, and we can get a refund for the day 5. I don’t see how he cannot cancel his day 5 ( if it’s refundable), and his TP was applied for before the change date, as was ours 🤷🏻♀️
And I asked you to clarify which part you had responded to! My own experience is that of the agency’s response, so maybe it is different going through an agency, and you have more of a benefit in terms of protection.
and that is exactly what is happening! In the meantime RV are refunding ALL costs already paid for day 5. Therefore we are no longer attending the hotel on day 5, nor doing a pcr test because we are being refunded the cost of these services. New Thai pass plus refund of day 5 costs = no day 5 hotel +PCR. As nothing is official yet, your argument isn’t with me. It is your opinion vs RV
