just like the Philippines. In recent years they have stopped caring about the onward ticket there. I think that I will not buy one and just step away and get one if they ask.

I hear that the airlines enforce it because they are required to return you to your home country if you are rejected. I have never been asked in customs. Always in airport ticketing.

thanks! Do they enforce this? In the Philippines it was strictly enforced for years but in the last 2 years or so they just stopped. When I go there now I don't buy a throw away ticket anymore and I have not been called on it in a while.

usually, if she has a long history of bank balances in the $10k and over range, she has a long and stable employment history and she owns property, that gives her a good chance. Note that making a large deposit into her usually almost empty account a few months before the application actually hurts you. You should make sure that your application accurately reflects these things. That is proof that she has things to come home to.

My understanding is that a very high percentage of Asian girls who are granted a visa overstay their visa. Also, Asian women are primary targets for sex traffickers. Put those together and you get a visa denial unless the woman has a bank account with a history of fairly high balances, a “real” job and owns property.

you can bring her to America on a fiancé or marriage visa. I did it once and my son did it once. It takes almost 2 years and cost a few dollars but it can be done. I actually brought a girl to America on a fiancé visa and then decided not to marry her and sent her home. She was later able to get a tourist visa. They just need to prove that they will go home when the visa is up. The vast majority of illegal immigrants in America went there legally and overstayed their visas.

for US applications, once you have been denied once you have to show a change of circumstance to apply again. That is a challenge. In my experience to get any Asian girl into America she has to either be rich and employed with property ownership in her home country, have a job and a sponsoring company in America, been accepted at an accredited school willing to sponsor her, or you marry her. Those are the choices.

not many Aussie girls getting sex trafficked to the west. When they go somewhere they stay less than their visa time and go home. Not true of Thai girls.
