Thanks for your response. So what you’re saying is I could get a 60 day extension of stay before my visa extension expires. So I could then apply for a new one year marriage extension before the 60 day extension expires (and deposit 400k THB into my account 2 months prior to applying)?
The 30 day stamp should be no problem. Are you married? It's easy to get a multiple entry non-o in Savannakhet Laos based on marriage. No need to show financials either.
Not every immigration office will do it. In Trat I had my non-O and tried to get a 60 day extension based on my daughter. We had all the required paperwork, but they insisted you can't get a 60 day extension based on a child. I even showed them the page on the Thai immigration website and then they changed their tune and said they stopped doing those extensions because they had a problem one time with a foreigner. Whatever the hell that means.
