Thanks, flight is 2.30am so as long as checkin is open I am fine to pass immigration before midnight. Alternatively 1 day overstay. I can't close the stamp as Jomtien keep your passport overnight otherwise I would.
I was there last week. They require proof of travel in AND out of Thailand, proof of accommodation and you could be asked to show 20k baht (I wasn't). It was very easy though, I didn't wait at all and the staff were nice. An agent is not necessary.
