while that is very true people were then unable to get back in to run their companies because the borders were closed to entry - this has been a huge dilemma and worry for many Non IMM B holders who are required to leave every 90 days .
hi Glen , I am the Managing director of a company here and have been for 18 years . Unfortunately I needed to switch my work permit to an other company and then everything happened. It means I have been unable to keep my work permit - which I correctly handed back in . Alas my non IMM B visa also expired 1 st May during this current Amnesty .
I wish to continue living and working in my adopted home and I will continue to try to look after my family my business my companies my staff etc - I will try to do it properly and will reapply for a new non IMM B visa and a new work Permit after this .
Am wondering if the consulates or embassies were still actually issuing the visas .
Like many I will hope things are clearer over the next few days or late next week.
If I have to go so be it - just looking at where I might be able to go to actually start the process
thanks ππΌ am going to do whatβs required and necessary - will try for some extension first just not sure yet on what basis . May try embassy route for a letter
Of course I would then have to apply to be able to come back and would NOT have the work permit to be allowed back in . I was under the impression I needed the work permit ( might be an incorrect assumption π)
appreciated ! After 18 years of work permits and Non IMM B visas I have now neither . Both have finished during the amnesty . I am moving into another company but need to start the whole process again of Letter of employment 3 month visa get WP then get the 12
Month visa - am hoping fingers crossed that something will happen with the amnesty to allow me to remain until Malaysia reopens and quarantine is relaxed but equally I may have to leave and try to get a visa back in UK . Heard that they were not issuing any visas and were only open for basic consular services ( of which I thought would include visas π€¦ββοΈπ€ͺ confused ? Yep I am
Samui immigration is asking you to ring first and NOT to just turn up . They are behind on the intended dates so there is some backlog . If you go on your date they will give you a telephone number and ask you to check on another date by ringing first ππΌ
