Just play dumb and say, We still have no idea what to do ... it was all so confusing ... we thought most farang would have finished their visa applications by the last day of amnesty (5555, this makes good sense too) ... etc.

I had a feeling this was going to happen, but I got out b/c I had a safe country to return to, in addition to The Donald's Mad House.

Being short-changed in IO is an exception, not the norm (at least not yet).
