@Steve *******
The first freaking line of his post "So my marriage scheme doesn't seem to be working out.". If you don't know what it mean, instead of calling people idiots, ask a question like "Why are people so mean to him, am I missing something?". Yes, you are missing that the "scheme" he is referring to is getting married to have the long term solution of a yearly marriage extension. OP was making many post about getting married months ago, and the implication of a divorce. He got married for the benefits that comes with it, which he already said with the word "scheme". That part required zero research, first line of his post.

@Tulip *******
The idiot is you. OP was making posts last year about coming into Thailand, Covid, requirements, etc. Then got married for the extension "scheme" of long term option. But you clueless are there asking if he has kids and other dumb questions. Ofc he doesn't have kids. DUH! Follow the god damn story or stfu if you don't know OP story in this group.

Foreigners in Thailand can't read between lines. OP got married to get the extension based on marriage and don't want to go back to short term options. What is so hard to understand about this? This is what the word "scheme" mean in the first line of his post. Have you guys been following OP "WTF" posts in the last year or so? Why so many dumb comment about if he has kids? Ofc he doesn't. He was making post last year about coming to Thailand during Covid, requirements, etc.

You have written some weird post in the last year, but this one top them all. Wtf are you doing!?

2 months deposit + 1st month rent is very common, this is most likely where your 3 months come from. A lot of misinformation in the comments about being a recent change or 1 month only law is incorrect info. It's been like this for 4-5 years at least that I know of. It's always whether 1+1, 2+1 or 1+2, whatever the phrasing. Anything less then 1+1 is extremely rare.

Malaysian train are great, but Thai train are just awful. I would recommend the ride if most of it was on Malaysian side, but it's not the case.

There is something fishy about OP Facebook page, but nonetheless, choosing an agent is like choosing a car mechanic, you need to be careful and investigate beforehand. I have used agents for 10 years and never had any issue. I would never pick an agent without an office in Thailand that I can visit if I wanted to. I would never choose an agent that doesn't have many positive reviews online and people that used them that I can chat with to ask further questions.

You are Burmese, right? People from Myanmar, Pakistan, India, Africa or Middle East have it much tougher. Your passport will determine how difficult it is. Should not be like this but discrimination is real.

How many people have done a Laos border run post-Covid? Did you hear any story in this group? I would like some evidence before saying that it's difficult to enter. སངས་རྒྱས་ མཁའ་འག྄ོ། is from Myanmar (I think?), so obv he's not gonna have good things to say about the process since Burmese are discriminated against in Thailand.

Brandon is partially correct. It depend on your country of origin (your passport). As a Canadian, I've been entering both Nong Khai and Mukdahan at least 10 times each since 2010 (on tourist visa or visa exempt entry "quick bounce") and I was never ever asked for any of the 3 proof of. The worse they do is asking me what I'm doing in Thailand, to which I always reply that my Girlfriend is Thai, that's it. It's the same in Tachilek (Myanmar), I never got asked anything. Poipet is the only border that ever caused me any trouble. Your passport will determine how easy it is to get out and in Thailand.
