Anonymous participant they said maybe certain officers are upset that more people are getting dtv visa instead of the monthly border bounce on tourist visa where some people use agents to grease some palms of officers for stamps. Not saying that this is the case. They could just be tired or don't feel like faking it all day long. At least they weren't outright rude to you, then you can complain
Maybe she was tired or had stuff going on. There's no rule that thai immigration officials have to say welcome to Thailand. Their job is checking documentation not catering to people. If you wanted someone catering to your entitled self then fork out the money for a privilege visa and the concierge person will glady pamper you
because i have dealt with federal BS for 17 years on both sides. When it involves money on the line you should always make absolutely sure that nothing is incorrect. It's not like thailand is the only country to keep your money if your visa is denied due to your own error.
