The Thai Embassy should have a list of certified translation services that are approved by the embassy. The list does not state that if you were previously married, you need to have your divorce documents translated, and certified by a Thai embassy. If either one of you have been divorced previously, you will have to get these documents translated and notarized by an approved translator .You can try to complete the process on your own, but knowing Thailand, there are often difficulties that come up. If this happens, you can then employ an agent to assist you.

perfect thanks! I don’t mind using an agent, but I would prefer to have the money part squared away and legitimate. Seems that it’s safer that way. Thanks for the response.

thai bank account only? Or can it go into a foreign bank account? And what if it goes into the foreign bank account and then it transferred to the Thai bank account?

thanks I’ve been buying a local SIM card and using it as you described (two sims on the phone) has worked great. Then I use the home phone on Wi-Fi. Glad that it can be used for an extended period of time. Thank you for that feedback.

He will be welcomed back with loving arms after his next reincarnation.
