How large are Visa and Multiple Reentry stamps?. - I would imagine that if one travels in and out of Thailand fairly frequently you would likely need additional pages added to their passport. Is this common? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Visa stamps in Thailand typically occupy about 1/2 a page in your passport, while re-entry permits take up a similar amount of space. However, if you opt for a multiple re-entry permit, only one arrival stamp will be made in your passport, utilizing approximately 1/6 of a page. Frequent travelers to Thailand may find themselves running out of passport pages due to the various stamps required. It's worth noting that some countries, like the US, no longer allow adding extra pages to passports, and the recommendation is to renew to a new passport if more pages are needed.

I was recently advised that US passport holder can no longer add pages.

But you can update the passport with a new 40 page passport. Given most are going Digital I will not bother with the larger book

@Jay **********
go to immigration and they will move it to the new Passport

Be careful when entering the immigration officers tend to be less than careful when selecting where to stamp your passport I had a brand new passport and found my entry stamp on page 6

yeah I found my Europe stamps on the back page. Fortunately I’m renewing my passport this year. It’s almost out of pages

Like 20 inches by 30 inches

First 90 days, then 12 months including Multiple Entries took 2 pages, I guess re-entries one more page 🤔

It all depends..some countries require a full page visa while others put a stamp

Stamps are added randomly on pages

So it’s hard to answer your question

You must have a big passport or the IO had a small stamp because my re-entry permit pretty much took care of the page.

I don’t think many countries allow you to add pages these days.

In country visas are about
***
page as are re-entry permits. Out of country visas are PDF files so irrelevant.

To save space you can get a multiple re-entry permit so then all that would be stamped is your arrival stamp which is about
***
of a page approx.
