the insurance rules have changed as of today unless you have strong systems your insurance will not cover treatment. A positive case needs to be quarantined for 10 days even without symptoms.

agree with your sentiment 100% .Thailand is trying to protect itself from the cost of treatment from positive cases .As of now roughly 3% of cases in Thailand are tourists,treatment of even just a positive without symptoms is in the order of THB 100,000 .It would be interesting to know what happens to tourists entering the home countries of those on here would be up for if travel was allowed

suggest you look for yourself, I am not a travel agent nor do I know your lifestyle. For example I have no idea of what your airfare would be ,it would cost minimum of 2500 THB per night for a reasonable hotel room only .If you test positive you could be up for 100,000 THB .Insurance is compulsory but does not cover Covid unless you have severe symptoms. Suggest you look up everything to see what costs are involved.

Suggest you take a look at new insurance rules ,if you test positive and you do not have certain symptoms then you have to pay all costs of isolation yourself. Strongly suggest now is not an opportune time for financially challenged people to consider International travel.

I scanned the QR code that appeared on email. Was nothing to do with me .I had been to Thailand and returned to home country already .The sending email address is different to original but quite similar.

Many hotels still have their pools open .Was in Thailand in December of 5 hotels I stayed in all had pools open except my Test and Go property which had everything closed.
