Interestingly, I just went and checked. That cover specifically cuts off at 31st March.
There is a multi-risk policy that pre-dates it though for flights booked between 21st December 2020 and November 30th 2021 so it looks like that one is a fit for me.
My only thought there is that I changed the flight to HKT rather than BKK because it seemed like a safer bet. I've emailed the insurer to find out and get the policy.
I wondered about that but the wording seems to be 'travel by 31st March'. Original booking was December 2020! I did print the policy at that time so will go back and have another look.
I guess the situation is changing quite quickly now so it may not even be a thing by April. I'll try and get confirmation from the provider, best to be sure.
Covid tests seem like a gouge at 4200baht but that is what it is and I can't imagine such a lucrative operation being dismantled any time soon so I'll just pay that and suck it up :)
Thanks. I've been through the process before but a few years ago, looks like not very much has changed but covid is having the final say at the moment.
I'll check the link later and see how much can be done now and then we will just have to wait and see how the red list develops.
