Need advice: My Non-B visa is expiring end of this month. But I would like to stay for at least a month before heading back home. What are my possible options? Thank you for helping. ๐๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's Non-B visa is expiring soon, and they are seeking options to extend their stay in Thailand for at least another month. Responses indicate that extensions for Non-B visas typically require a work permit and are limited by new COVID regulations, which state that once a visitor enters on a visa-on-arrival (VOA) or holds a non-immigrant visa, they are ineligible for further COVID extensions. Therefore, the user may need to leave the country and apply for a new type of visa.

Bottom line...under the new COVID extension rules...once you entered VOA or have been on a non immigrant visa during your stay you are no longer eligible for added COVID extensions. Apply and will get added 7 days to leave Thailand.

As in the days before Covid, the Non Immigrant B visa can only be Extended on basis of working in Thailand with Work Permit. As soon as the jobs stops, there is no reason to be inside Thailand. Only option is to go abroad and get a new type of visa.
I will try my luck this week as my partner already has booked a flight for me on April 11. I'm not sure if the immig officer will show a little bit of consideration to grant an extension if they see my ticket.
You need to get a letter from your embassy and school ( if it's a school ) to get an extension for 30 days, before someone queries this I know someone that has just done it. Good luck!
you can't get a visa inside the country I think only option for you is a trip to phonm phen and get a 60 days tourist visa as you don't appear to have had a history of covid extensions you should be fine with this or you could do a bounce and enter visa exempt
