TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a Non-B visa and work permit in Thailand, you'll need specific documents, typically including proof of employment and other requirements defined by your local immigration office. While it's generally possible to handle the process without a lawyer, many expats find that assistance from their employer's administrative staff can streamline the process. Additionally, fees may vary depending on the office handling the application.
Sure it can be done without a lawyer. ๐ The admin assistants at our company do it for us. We just turn up to show we exist and smile for a picture, oh and sign where they point.
Seeing as you have to be employed to get a Non-B extension and to extend a work permit what did your employer tell you when you spoke to them about it?
