Hello, I applied for a non b visa which I got and will be over on the 25th December, in the meantime I got my work permit which has a 1 year validity. What is the next step? Should I go to immigration on the 25th December for any procedure or is it done, I can just stay normally? Is there anything else I should do? Thanks in advance for your help.

To extend a non-B visa, you must prepare various documents from the company, including submitting tax forms, etc. You must ask the company what province you work in.

You should be asking your employer these questions, not a Facebook group.

You have to apply for an extension from immigration and you'll need documents from your job to do so. And you'd best not wait until the last day of your stay either. You'll be able to apply next week.

of course. Work permit allows you to work but extension allows you to stay in the country.

your work permit and your permission to stay are 2 completely separate things issued by 2 completely separate government agencies.
