Hi guys, Need advice.

I have a non-B visa, which ends in September. The next crossing of the border I must do in March 15th. But we are leaving on the 30th of March. Can I get an extension for a month in Koh Samui's immigration office? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster inquired about the possibility of obtaining a 30-day extension for their Non-B visa at the Koh Samui immigration office, given the expiration of their visa in September and their travel plans. Comments indicate that short-term extensions are not available for Non-B visas, and that it is recommended to conduct a border run instead to acquire an additional 90 days upon re-entry.

Nope, there's no short term extension on that type of visa, you border bounce for another 90 day stamp or you apply for a year extension.

I believe the poster was speaking of a short term extension of 30 days. Not a one year and he seems to be on a Multi Entry B one Year

Non B visa can only be Extended with company papers, tax payments etc for 1 year. It seems to me that it will be less hassle for you to just do the border run and get another 90 days on return. For you misses, it is possible to extend her Visa to match yours, but also here lot of copies and work for only 2 weeks. Do the border run together and she can come back with the 30 day Visa Exempt stamp.

Extensions are not given for this visa

And that 7 days is actually a denial of an Extension with 7 days to leave Thailand

That’s for your B visa and Marishas O visa....no more than 7 days 😢

Only 7 days as far as I know!

my wife has a three-month non O-visa. It ends on March 15. Also makes no sense to go to Koh Samui? We'll have to do a visa-run.

Wait for other opinions - but I think the same
