hello, german citizens should always pick the consulate that is closest to where they live but does anybody know if one can also just select for example berlim instead of frankfurt? asking because berlin doesnt have a required timeframe for the 500K. Thank you
Thai Embassy Frankfurt, Germany, as a German citizen and freelancer
I applied for the DTV (Remote Work). I've been a freelancer for three years, meet all the requirements (in my opinion) and have submitted all the necessary documents.
Timeline
* November 21: Data uploaded
* November 23: Requested additional documents, uploaded them immediately
* December 5: Status changed to Pending Approval
* December 20: Status changed back to Document Check
Since then, nothing has happened.
I sent an email at the beginning of January and have called at least 100 times, but I can't reach anyone.
Does anyone have any advice or tips? Or should I just wait it out?
I had a phone call with the embassy and as a german citizen it is a requirement to either have a german company or be employed with a german company. At least that's how I understood the woman I was talking with. I have a foreign company and live as a nomad so applying in Germany is out.
Also asked her about medical treatment. Since this visa is so new they haven't had a case yet and don't know if a single appointment for a treatment in Thailand is enough. It definitely needs to be an official document from the hospital. But the embassy in Berlin might forward this kind of application to Thailand to evaluate if they would approve the visa or not.
Hi, can anybody confirm that it is possible to travel to Thailand through Chiang Mai from another country like Vietnam or is mandatory to enter through Phuket or Bangkok (as a German citizen). Thanks!
To whom it may concern (German citizens aged 50+): My recent e-mail inquiry at the Royal Thai Consulate in Frankfurt, Germany yielded an answer that they do not issue Non-O-X (retirement visa 5-10 years), only the usual 1-year retirement visa.
But the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin does issue Non-O-X, see [[members only]).
Hi there. I plan to go to Thailand on a visa on arrival which I plan textend for another month. Im German citicen. What return ticket I have to show at immigration on arrival? Thanks for your suggestions
