Yep but I am sure it will be fine there is no visa that allows you to stay for 19 days any way..And the 1 is there just over the other letters.. But thank you all for the info.

Check the stamp on the TM Card too.
Adriaan ******
That’s definitely a one but go to Imagration they should sort you out. You can’t get 19 days visa exempt. 15 days or 30 and if I understand correctly you can only get 30 at Airport and not a 15 day.
Ron *******
I would try too
Robert *******
Samui is not that big, so I would give it a try. But who am I.
Ron *******
Surathani airport is on the mainland Robert. Sumui has its own airport but people like to use Surathani and the ferry as it's much cheaper.
Ron *******
That's why we say check your stamps when you arrive. Someone earlier this month had to do a 600 klm round trip to get a stamp corrected.
Robert *******
Samui is part of Suratthani province and I thought on Samui is an International Airport.
Magdeleen ************
ORIGINAL POSTER
I am on Samui, it is not so easy to just go to Surat thani.
Robert *******
At least you can try today or tomorrow as Immigration Office is closed. Airport Immigration might help, good idea Ron.
Ron *******
Ok. Then they may want you to go back to airport immigration.
Magdeleen ************

I got visa exempt on arrival via air.

What do you mean?
Ron *******
Can I asked how you was stamped at Surathani?
Magdeleen ************

Hopefully they will fix it here on Samui.

ok.
Ron *******
Sorry just noticed you was actually stamped at Surathani so they should correct it.

Mine is definitely not that one.\

So that is how visa on arrival looks like, ok.
Robert *******
This is an example of the Visa On Arrival what is used for certain countries and give 14 days.
Ron *******
Just go to your local immigration office. If it's a mistake they MAY correct it but CAN tell you to go back to Bangkok.
Magdeleen ************
ORIGINAL POSTER
OK great because this is visa exempt and it should be 30 days if it isn't then it can't be a 14 day entry stamp either because 6 Nov gives me 19 days, so it should be a mistake.
Mark *******
Yes...that is an exempt entry stamp good for 30 days.

I'm 100% it isn't a mistake other than the stamp being out of line.
Robert *******
In Bangkok Immigration is a special desk just for mistakes. Like it or not Immigration Officers are normal people who do make mistakes. That is why the advice is to check the stamps directly on returning from your passport.
Ron *******
If its a mistake immigration will correct it without a problem.
Magdeleen ************
ORIGINAL POSTER
OK good news.
Mark *******
Easy... happens fairly often.

Is immigration easy about mistakes like this or will it be a problem.
The "1" doesn't look like a 1 to me, rather, the edge of the rubber stamp. But...what you choose to do is up to you. If you are planning on getting a 30 day extension, go to Immigration on Monday, get the stamp sorted out and your 30 day extension at the same time. Then kick your feet up and have a beer.
Jeremy ********
You know what the 1 is there if you look closely at the M to the I....it’s right there hidden
, draw youself numbers on Immigration stamps in your passport, with a little luck you do not need your passport and Visa for some time soon and get free housing and food.

I think it's ok but I'm not immigration who might want paying for an overstay 😂
Robert *******
So the advice is go to Immigration and sort it out, or hope that if you leave on day 16 the IO can make a picture and blow it up to see the same 1 as Ron did. You can directly apply for the 30 day Extension of Stay.
Ron *******
I've just blown it more. If you look at the 'M' you can see the downward tick of what is the number 1 leading off of the top left hand edge of it. Yes though, I would of questioned it at the time.
Robert *******
Always check the stamps directly on returning passport, we keep on telling but we keep on getting questions like this. They always found out there is a mistake on the last day, I wonder how they do that. Just accidentally looked in the passport this morning?
Ron *******
Im pretty sure they have just not lined the stamp rollers up properly but it won't hurt to go to immigration. That's why I look everytime I get stamped these days. I have had 2 completely wrong stamps the last 2 entries.
, but than it seems that the 1 is far away from the 6, as you can see at the other numbers they are much more close. I would go asap to Immigration and get it checked to be sure.
Vicky *******
Yes..it's a 16 ...not a 6....thanks for telling bro.
Ron *******
Ron *******
The stamp says 16th. The 1 is on the m of 'admitted' and on the I of 'until'. If you blow it up you can see it.
Vicky *******
Your visa expiring on 6-Dec.-2017 ....means on Monday
Vicky *******
Yes bro. It's a imagination stamp...it will expire on Monday
Robert *******
It is a Visa Exempt Entry, not a visa and the date is 6 NOV 2017 but yes it is a Monday.

It's 16 , the 1 is very faint though
Robert *******
Well at least we know it is not a Visa on Arrival. It's easy to call all the stamps the same name, but they have different rules and regulations. Same as the answers from a school test, if they all the same everybody pass every test with 100 % score.
เดวิด **********
As Mark said, either the "1" in "16" didn't stamp or the officer made an error. These things happen fairly often. I try to always check the stamp before I walk away from the counter. But a trip to the immigration office will get it fixed easily.
Mark *******
Should have been 16 November... IO screwup. Go to immigration office and they will correct it.
