So i am on an extension of stay based on visiting a family. I got stamped wrong by Phuket immigration only until the 15th of November. Not 26th. When i asked about it, they said its correct?... So now when the amnesty is official, am i able to go to the immigration office and they should change the stamp until the end of the year?
Thank for all the information :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on an extension of stay due to visiting Thai family, but Phuket immigration wrongly stamped their visa to expire on November 15 instead of November 26. The user is inquiring if they can go to the immigration office for a correction after the official amnesty is announced. Community comments clarify that the user may not be able to extend their stay further depending on the nature of their current visa and the requirements for further extensions.

I remember this poster he applied for a 60 day visit thai family extension but the immigration office was ADAMANT that the extension started the date that he applied (rather than from the 27th of Sept taking him to the 25 Nov).
At this point he has what he has a 60 day visit family extension that runs out on Nov 15th
and this is it. Feel free to be a member of the group, feel free to contribute to the posts and help people BUT ease up on the personal opinion OR the slagging off of the process or the immigration offices, officers?
Unfortunately not. It does seem unfair that you did the right thing and are being penalised, as if you'd waited until late October to apply for your 60 day extension presumably you could have stayed until Christmas.
You are currently on an extension of stay based on visiting Thai family, and not on amnesty. You can stay until November 15th. If you qualify, you can get a one year extension of stay based on marriage/ raising half-Thai children.
It's unknown what would happen after November 15th.
