I'm sure this question has been asked before: what's the best option to send money from my Thai bank to my US bank? I've tried connecting them bank to bank and it never seems to go through. 🤔is it best to just use something like western union?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the best options for transferring money from a Thai bank to a US bank. Users suggest using DEE Money as a reliable method that often takes one business day. Others mention using Remitly and traditional services like Western Union, though some express concerns about wiring money due to potential scrutiny from tax authorities.

The best way is to find a person to carry the cash back to the states for you. It is a major red flag when Uncle Sam finds out you are wiring money to your US accounts. He'll want a part of the tax and wonder where your money is coming from.

bro, the fact that you're wiring money back to the states will raise a red flag already. No one wires money from Thailand to the states.

many do all the time. This is an old post and I already figured it out with the deemoney app that was suggested for me. It's specifically for that.

Deemoney is the best. Also depending on your bank you may be able to do it from the app of your Thai bank
