1) I'm having the amount of 500,000 Baht split into 2 different bank acc (Hong Kong and Thai bank). Would the split reduce my chances of approval.
2) Also the amount on my HK bank statements are in HKD. I suppose I'd better convert them with a separate doc for better understanding for the officers, right?
(For Hanoi)
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether having their financial proof, specifically 500,000 Baht, split between a Hong Kong bank account and a Thai bank account would negatively impact their chances of visa approval. Additionally, they ask if it's necessary to convert amounts from HKD to Baht in a separate document for clarity. Responses suggest that using multiple bank accounts should not significantly affect approval chances, and while it is generally accepted to present funds in different currencies, including additional documentation for currency conversion may cause confusion for the officers.
1) We've not experienced any issues with our applicants using more than 1 bank account. That being said, if you have time before your planned date of application, there is no harm in combining the bank accounts.
2) Definitely no issue using a different currency. In fact, adding extra documentation with the conversion may confuse the officers at the embassy and negatively affect your case.
That would complicate things a lot, and may lead to rejection. Don't risk it, unless you want to gamble your money or time on it. Move it all into the same bank.
