Advice please. I am 69 year old from USA. My wife is 42 year old from Philippines. She has accepted a job here in Phuket and will get her Non-B visa next week.

Is there a waiting period before I can apply for a Non-O Dependent visa?

Can I change a 90 Tourist visa into a Non-O?

Will I need to leave Thailand to get the visa and which is the best country to go to?

Thanks in advance. 🙏😊

Hi, i am a newbie to the group and also it is my first time on a non-immigrant O-A, which i got from Canada- few questions- i arrived here Sept 17 and at the airport they stamped me until May 1 2022, my visa says valid from July 29, 2021 until July 28 2022, so do i get 1 yr from July 29, 2021 or 1 yr from when i arrive here, and why did they stamp good until May 1 2022, i think they made a mistake, can i do 90 online reporting i have read it works for some but not others, i live very close to Korat Immigration, and finally can i change my visa to another one so i can teach online to Chinese students from our home. Sorry so many questions, thanks so much in advance, appreciate it very much.

If anyone with experience of this situation would please advice on the following.

If a Current Visa would get cancelled, say an ED visa or work permit visa. In this case you would get 7 days to leave right ?

During this period of 7 days, would it be possible to obtain a different visa type while inside the country ?

The information here is always helpful.

Thank you very much.

Now I'm wondering where to go to get a second year ED visa. I went to Vientiane in the first year, but in the second year I was told that Vientiane was impossible. I am researching various information, but I am in trouble because I don't know which country is better.

If I can't accept an ED visa, can I change to a tourist visa right away? If I am preparing a tourist visa document at the same time as an ED visa, is that possible? Or do I need to get a reservation number again? please tell me. Thank you very much
