RE: Successful COVID extension + re-entry question.
Hi all, last week I was successful at securing my 3rd COVID extension, this time at the IT Plaza Lak Si. Was in and out within 30 minutes, with no questions asked other than proof of flight out by the expiry of the new extension. I had not been asked this before, and was told that I would need to show proof of flight this time around because I had been on tourist visas and extensions for 6 months. Luckily, I only needed the extension because I had a flight home 4 days after the expiration of previous extension, so came prepared with booking confirmation. Again, cannot fault the service and efficiency, even though I arrived 'late' at around 11am.
I am now back in the UK and wanting to return to Thailand (for tourism purposes) within the next month or two. I have heard of foreigners with lots of previous COVID extensions being refused entry upon arrival in Thailand. Is anyone able to advise? Note, 23yrs old, British passport, 1x1month and 3x2 month covid extensions in passport. Thanks!
