I have seen that in all of the applications for the thei visa you need an exit ticket to ensure that you are leaving Thailand.
My plans are not that structured and once I'm there I would like to decide which other country's I'm visiting after my 60 days plus the 30 day extension. So buying a ticket right now to another country just for the visa application is not my best option.
I don't know if any of you have been on this situation and what do you use as proof that you are leaving Thailand?
Thank you!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about alternatives to purchasing a fixed exit ticket for their Thailand visa application, given their intention to travel flexibly after arriving in Thailand. Several commenters suggested practical solutions, such as buying a cheap exit ticket to a neighboring country or utilizing services that offer temporary ticket purchases. They emphasized the importance of having proof of onward travel, like a bus or air ticket, to meet visa requirements.
Pretty much I buy a cheap one way ticket as a “throw away” to show I am exiting at 60 days. The airlines won’t let you board with a 60 day tourist visa and the plan for a 30 day extension.
Buy a cheap exit ticket to a neighboring country. I think that there are even services that will allow you to buy a ticket for someone in your situation, but I have never used one. I'm sure that someone in this group will be popping up soon with a solution.
