TLDR : Answer Summary
Renting two apartments in different provinces in Thailand may lead to immigration complications. It's crucial to designate one primary address for immigration purposes and ensure only the landlord of that address files the TM30 form to report your residency. Mixing addresses for immigration-related matters can create issues, so it's advisable to choose one immigration office to handle all visa or extension processes.
Once you decide which province you want to use for immigration, make sure you have the landlord there file your TM30 and that your other landlord knows not to. You don't want to get held up because one of your landlords didn't know any better and also filed.
