Ok on this TM 30 business. I come here for 2 months April and May, then about 4 months in fall . Fly out around Jan 7 . I have a retirement stamped 23 Dec 19. And multiple reentry. My wife meets me at the airport and we go to Pattaya for 4 days to visit friends every visit. I assume the TM 30 is filed at the hotel in Pattaya, what's the story when we return to our house in Phetchabun for the remainder of my trip. I know an English friend had problems when he went for a 30 day extension at Phetchabun immigration Because he went direct from the airport to his house here. My 90 day report is normally due at the same time as my retirement renewal and as we usually come to Pattaya for Xmas I do it there. Is all this OK I am confused

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM 30 regulation requires foreigners to report their place of residence and any changes in address to immigration authorities. In your case, you should file the TM 30 at the hotel in Pattaya when you arrive. However, upon returning to your house in Phetchabun, you'll need to ensure that your TM 30 is updated accordingly to avoid issues, especially since you've experienced confusion regarding the process. It's essential to communicate with your local immigration office, as procedures can differ by location.

Sorry for closing the thread but if we didn't we'd have 100 TM.30 threads running with mostly b/s information being spouted..

Good Luck (y)

And until you talk to your immigration office you're not going to get the answers you seek.

each office is different, and other than this exellent post by Robert which contains everything there is to know about the TM.30 there's not much more info that people can give you
