TLDR : Answer Summary
To change your address to a different province in Thailand, you generally need to file a new TM30 form, which your landlord can submit online or at the local immigration office. This should be done in conjunction with your 90-day report at your local immigration office using your new address. If the new TM30 is not filed or present in the immigration system, you may be required to provide it before your 90-day report is accepted. There is typically no reason for immigration to refuse this request if you have physically moved; they simply need to update their records.

I am actually here on retirement extension.when I got agent to do they put my address as a different province, which obviously suited there contacts at imm but my local wasn't happy that I didn't do here.
As long as a new TM30 was filed on your new address your fine on your next 90 day report using the new address at the local immigration office. If a new TM30 is not in their system then you'll be asked to provide it to them before you can file your new 90 day report.
