Hi

With the online system being down for filing a TM30 my landlord is unable to get a copy of this for my covid extension.

My landlord is not in thailand. So what do i need to do to get a TM30. My landlord already filed my TM30 but wanted to extend it for the covid extension

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is facing difficulties obtaining a TM30 due to their landlord being overseas. The landlord has already filed a TM30 but cannot provide a copy due to the online system being down. Comments suggest that if the previous TM30 is for the current province, they may not have a significant issue. The user should take their lease and visit the immigration office, but may need additional documents such as a house registration book and power of attorney to file on behalf of the landlord.

well my landlord sent tm30 via post, few dags ago. I went to mtt with photo of slip and copy of registration forms he sent. still they said it will take a month to register and if i need it earlier, I need to file myself again and for that you need copy of house registration book and power of attorney from owner 🤷🏽‍♂️

So iam abit confused. What do i need now? I shall have a copy of my booking in airbnb (6 month booking). A copy of the email that the landlord is trying to update the TM30 as the website is down.

airbnb booking will not help. you need tm30 registration filed by landlord. and its not possible to do online now so he needs to do it in person or send it via mail.

but if he sends it then u will get registration confirmation within a months and that can be too late for your visa extension. so he (landlord) can authorise you to file yourself. for that you may need few documents on top and power of attornery...

ok, I dont know then. 🙂 thought you dont have address registered. you just need to go to immigration, they will tell you.

you need that confirmation slip as proof that you are registered but they can see it in their system, so🤷🏽‍♂️

All you can do is take your lease with you and go TRY to file for your extension at your immigration office. Believe me they'll tell you if you need a TM30 or not

As long as your previous TM30 is for the province your are currently submitting your paperwork. This shouldn’t be a problem.

so i wont need it for covid extension?

@Anthony ****
correct. If you take paperwork of being unable to submit via the website and that’s the landlord has a copy I.e spreadsheet with dates and details. They will attach this to the application.

Just to add my landlord stated my TM30 runs out on 7th Apr

unless he put a "check out date' in on the TM30 online when he filed it there is no "it runs out". Most places don't bother putting it in because it's not required
