Hi guys 😊 I will be applying for the “covid visa extension” for the first time. As far as I know the Immigration in Bangkok will require me to present a TM.30 form, correct? I am a tourist staying at an airbnb. My landlord said he is unable to provide me with the TM.30 because he is a foreigner himself. (I don’t know if this is a valid reason, but anyway I don’t want to argue). Here is my question. Is it possible to get the covid extension without the TM.30? Is there a chance they will not ask for it? If not then what are my options? I’d appreciate your help and suggestions.

Also, do I go for the covid extension to the same building where I went for the regular extension of a visa exemption? (I am in Bangkok) Aside from the TM.30 are there any other additional requirements (aside from passport photo, copy of passport page bio and stamp, TM.6)? Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements for applying for a COVID visa extension in Thailand, specifically regarding the necessity of a TM.30 form, which their landlord (a foreigner) cannot provide. They inquire if it’s possible to obtain the extension without this form and mention their previous experience with the regular visa extension. Reactions from community comments suggest that the requirement for the TM.30 may vary based on the immigration officer and experiences differ depending on landlords.

I had a friend whose application hinged on having the TM30.

Our landlord is Farang. We went together to the immigration and it was no problem to get the TM 30.

Whether they ask or don't ask for a TM30 receipt is totally up to the officer you get so it's a roll the dice and see what happens sort of thing. Same copies as before, they'll hand you the forms when you apply

you should make a booking here for Counter K

IF you entered the country on a visa exempt entry stamp you went to the Muang Thong Thani immigration office (out by impact arena) to get your 30 day extension and that's exactly where you go to apply for the 60 day covid extension
