If I have a condo but like to travel and stay in hotels do I need to have my landlord file a TM30 everytime I come back from staying in a a hotel if the checkout date is when my 180 stamp is up for my condo? Also if a hotel didn’t send in a TM30 and I already left is it better to leave the country and come back before 90 days to avoid the 90 day report?
TLDR : Answer Summary
When staying at a hotel in Thailand, it's required that the hotel files a TM30, registering you as a guest. Upon returning to your condo, your landlord must file a new TM30 to update your residence status. If a hotel fails to file a TM30 before you leave, it's recommended to exit the country and re-enter before your 90-day reporting deadline to avoid complications, although this depends on the specific rules of the local immigration office.
