I recently got a new 180 day stamp into my passport (DTV). I'm renting a condo and I heard somewhere that if I leave Thailand and come back that I need a new TM30. Is that correct even though I still stay at the same place?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand after leaving, you typically need to submit a new TM30 form, even if you stay at the same address. While this is required per immigration regulations, the enforcement may vary by local immigration offices. Some expats report differing enforcement practices, with some offices requiring it for all entries while others may not check rigorously. To avoid issues, it's advisable to prepare the TM30 in advance or check directly with your local immigration office for specific requirements.
My agent informed me anytime you return back to Thailand you need to do a new TM 30 in person or with the aid of an agent at an immigration office in Thailand. It does not matter if you are away for a short period of time and returning to the same condo

Ask your local immigration office, rules vary. My immigration wants a new one every time I travel, even inside Thailand

Just show up for your 90 day report. Then either they will say nothing or tell you what you need to do.
by law (2021), if returning to an address that you are registered to (via a TM30) before the notified checkout date, you do not have to file a new TM30 regardless of inter-province or out of country travel. However, if dealing with an immigration officer, they may require a new updated TM30 is presented, for them to complete your required transactions.
