My last trip I had my return ticket 90 days out and had no issue, I have the same this trip and just got my visa…..if there was an issue I’d just buy a ticket on the spot

I emailed them and copy/pasted what’s actually asked for and explained the difference and why it matters, traveling for 24 hours if coming from the US. Probably some desk flunkie on email duty

well earlier in the year there were a couple posts on here about a couple hotels that were asking for 72 hours from arrival at the hotel, which if they want to go above and beyond the minimum precautions is their decision...but i emailed back and forth with them several times before asking for the source since everything i found said departure and didnt hear back from them. easy enough to cancel and rebook somewhere else

id rather not have the hassle or the worry

I got an email saying it was approved, I assume when I log in I will have a page I can print out with QR code

even so if all our CDC cards are all the same I can’t imagine there will be too much confusion, then again it’s thailand

most countries also don’t require hospital quarantine if you’re asymptomatic

As far as covid treatment most people are fine unless they are at risk, and even more so if they are vaccinated

There is some sense to the extra insurance and precautions but it’s hard to take it seriously given the nature of Thai politics and economics
