I replied to

that I would get to a visa for my current teaching position. But I will take your suggestion to get a visa first. I had a non immigrant o visa based on marriage to a Thai which I been under for eleven years now. Thank you for your time and suggestion.

I forgot to mention that I would change or get a visa when I return for my current job here (teacher). So I think I should get a tourist visa whilst in the U.S.?

What are the rules for obtaining COVID extensions for Non-Immigrant visa holders in Thailand?

I talked to an immigration officer about this as my covid extension ends March 7. He advised get a letter from my embassy for- unable to travel?-(U.S Embassy) to extend my Stay as In teaching and final exams at my school start March 7 and would like another week or two to finish my grades to turn in before I leave. Would anyone know if it’s still possible to get a letter for unable to travel?
