My wife will enjoy the extra day as well... once we are together again... flight to city near our village is not until morning 755am... so why waste a day.. if you can get another day... 555

............the young lady that took our input info... spoke perfect English... they do the translation... and then you meet the employee at the Consular office... he had documents ready... and he stood in line to submit them... easy.. then go to district office where you will live and submit them there to register marriage... I had to have documents notarized at the US Embassy... 1. passport copy.. $50... then declaration of being free to marry.... $50.. easy forms on line to print and fill out... just have to make appointment for when you arrive Bangkok .... first... then book flight..
curious as to thoughts.... would this DTV ... be a better solution... for someone that is married to a Thai woman.. and want to stay year round with her.. build home on family property.. just trying to find the best way to do this... for the least amount of money tied up in bank.. foreign or thai bank.. thank you for your consideration in answering with your thoughts.. I will be in the yellow book upon my return early sept.. all marriage documents local district office.
my apologies if this has been asked before... my question is.... why not have a stateside bank account for direct deposit then transfer the funds to Thai bank account?? also keep an address in the states?? Navy federal credit union will do the transfers for free??
