what I mean is I have friends under non-B too and they dont and didnt get their kids visa until they reached 14 years of age. But I also read some advise otherwise. So there could be very good reason/advantage for advising that.
if that's the case I believe you only need to get the certificate from the doctor specifying your condition etc and bring it to the immigration in the same province. That is a requirement. I tried it for my husband and the immigration in our place is kind however our hospital is in a different province so I was told to go to the immigration there and said he cannot guarantee if it will be approved there. Says it depends to them. 🙏
if you have already extended once, you have to do a border bounce. The same day you can come back or soon after you exited.
If you want to try exending, (meaning not to do border bounce), you have to have certification from the hospital/doctor that explains why you need extension and cant go out of the country and show it to the immigration of the same city/province where the hospital is. They may extend you, they may not, depends on the officer. No harm in trying first. Or just do border bounce.
I see. So I assume you got your baby a passport already that's why your company is insisting on getting the baby a visa, right?
My baby was born in thailand too and got him passport right away. has flown out of thailand twice. And the immigration just asked for the birth certificate and that's it stamped the passport 30 days but after one year flew out again and same thing.
If you have just given birth, you dont really need to apply the baby visa just yet. Just make sure you get the birth certificate from your district office and check the spelling of the English and Thai names and other info. The baby can stay in thailand without visa till 14 years of age. But you can also apply the baby a visa if you really want to, that's fine. You just bring to and apply the baby's visa at the same immigration where you applied your non b. But really no need to hurry.
You can request or remind the front desk staff to register your TM30. There are some who dont if you dont tell them that you need it. They also may give you the printed copy of the TM30 registration aside from the receipt of your payment.
As far as I know you can do 2 border bounce per year and each border bounce you can extend at the immigration (that makes it 2 extensions for 2 border bounce) that's 120 days.
