wow I did mine at Don Mueang - I wasn't even going to bother (wasn't sure when I'd be back) but the Immigration Officer suggested it and pointed to an office just a few yards away. Took all of 10 mins

Robert Lagas I'm confused by what you're saying. I've been in Thailand on non-immigrant visas renewed each year for the last 7 years and I never have to leave the country, only report to local immigration office every 90 days. Mine was a retirement visa but I thought the same 90-day reporting rules applied to all types of 12-month non-Immigration visas
