I'm surprised, cause I always thought the stamp is binding. So if they stamp too many days and I overstay, it's my fault? But if they stamp me 30 instead of 60 days, I do overstay after 30 days already and this is also my fault? Sounds a bit arbitrary...

(just asking for curiosity, I always check my stamp)

As far as I know, you can still immigrate to Malaysia until midnight. Not sure if the consulate is working as usual the next days.

The ministry of foreign affairs sells visas? That's pretty new ;)

The German ministry has a website where you can check the requirements of all foreign countries.

Ministry of foreign affairs in Germany says your documents have to be valid 6 months if you enter Thailand. Even on a visa exempt. Many countries have this rule, I'd double check it.
