Is this what you did? ( apparently cannot get a Non OA in Thailand only in your home country.) I’ll get insurance in either case.

If you did this can you message me the procedure, the requirement, how did you open Thai Bank Account on a Tourist Visa Exempt?

looks like then I’ll have to book flight I can change and stay 6 weeks and apply in Australia. Or do visa run at 60 days.

Can I fly to Vietnam/Penang and get 60 day (+30 ext) = 90 day there?

yes, I know that but it takes 4+ weeks to get it from Perth. Too long a wait for me. Also to book a flight I have to

pay extra fees to change it not knowing when I’ll get my passport back. Its messy. In the past I’ve always got a 60 day visa in a few days but now no Thai Consulate in Perth it makes things difficult.

I tried to call them but no answer as I need to have their requirements on hand to apply. I’m now sending them an email. (As I don’t want to have to do a visa run in 60 days).

I’m a retiree here in Australia not in Thailand but wish to apply for Thailand. I haven’t a Thai Bank account, last time I was there (2019) it was very difficult to get one on a tourist visa. So how to do that to apply for a Non O Visa?
