If I have a 90 day Tourist Visa (60 + 30 extn) and travel to India prior to my arrival. Can I arrive in Thailand within the 60 days or 90 days from its issue to receive the full 90 days on arrival in Thailand. I will be applying for ‘O’ One year Non-Immigrant visa so need to be sure. This is what it says on their website, I just want to confirm if I can?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can enter Thailand within the 60 days of your Tourist Visa's validity to receive the full 90 days upon your arrival. Initially, you will get stamped in for 60 days, and then you can apply for a 30-day extension at the immigration office for a fee. It's recommended to visit the local immigration office in Thailand to inquire about the requirements for applying for the NON-O One Year Non-Immigrant Visa, especially for retirees.

With a valid Thai tourist visa, upon arrival into Thailand you will be stamped in for 60 days. PLUS one 30 day extension of stay at Thai immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

When you are in Thailand, be sure to visit your local Thai Immigration office and ask them for their list of requirements for the Non O Visa as retiree and the One year extension of stay as retired.

you have to ENTER THAILAND during the time period stated on the Tourist Visa. It's valid for 3 MONTHS from date of issue .

Upon arrival into Thailand you will get 60 days stamp plus one 30 day extension of stay
