This is ridiculous now let me tell y'all a thing or two. Stop with the sarcastic and snide remarks. I joined this group to be able ask questions and to find out about visa and other info. And all this back-n-forth stop right now and stop acting like a bunch of kids.
I have never travel outside the US and I have no clue how to go about getting Visa and what I will need to have and do when I get ready to come to Thailand one day. I was hoping I could depend on you people to help me especially the ones that have live there and the ones who have lived there for years to help me and steer me in the right direction.
Covid19 is world wide and I understand that the people in Thailand are suffering, lost jobs and have no income and some of the people on here bad mouthing what going on there. And in my opinion this virus is here to stay and vaccines are a long way off from being ready to vaccinate people. And I have cancer and was suppose to be in Phuket back in April and that didn't work out so now I hope I can live enough to be able to travel to there.
Now it not my intent to offend anyone but instead of you expats on here with your smart remarks and being sarcastic stop it at one point you were in our shoes trying to figure this out do you need to go here or there, etc etc etc.
And all you expat instead of being on here marking rude comments about Thailand and how bad things are, ya'll all have money you may be rich or you may not so take some of your money and why don't y'all step up and help the people, start a food drive, set up some sort of foundation to financially help them in someway, when your out shopping play it forward pay for someone groceries at the grocery store, if you know someone who needs a bill that needs to be pay, pay it for them. And do not get on here talking about you can't afford to help or bad mouth me and my post. All of you have talked about nice it is to live there and the people of Thailand has graciously allowed you to live there and if you don't like what's going on there then pack your bags and leave. Now is time all the expats get up off their ass and start helping these people and give back to them. Some of you are business men and women and I sure there are expats from all walks of life's that can set up foundation, and organize food drives and figure out ways to help, instead of sitting around have drinks at the golf course and other places.
Now like I stated this group was set up to help people provide information so let's keep it at that.

William let me ask you this do men enter into arrangements with these women is it a written arrangement to live with them to get paid for sex. And can either party leave at anytime, I read and article similar to this and I don’t under there culture and it was confusing to say the least. Do men that have these arrangements talk about it or wants o keep it their private business even though you might know that they have them ladies living with them.
I think my friend has decided that he is going to come for three months and see if he will like living there after they open the borders.
well considering he nor I have ever been out of the US (and yes there are women here the same way) yes we were surprised. He knew the culture was going to be different and he was looking forward to experiencing new things. So yes we both were very surprised.
I have a dear friend who was looking for a nice woman to just date nothing serious or romantic most for companionship and show him around. So he began looking on Thai dating site to find and lady he could meet and ever one of the ladies he contact via email or FB messenger the first thing that was brought up was I have sex with you and you can pay me or you send me money coronavirus very bad or you take care of me and I will have sex with you and I can tell you ever one of these women only thought about was sex for money and it was all age groups. And I will be the first to say that not all women are like that and they are good women but unfortunately there are a lot of women who are only interested in men for there money and unfortunately there are men who think they have found the women of their dream when all she's after his money even if she has to use sex to get it.
I was raised right and raised rights right and wrongs wrong. I work I earn my own money and if I was married then I would help support my husband just like I would like for him to support me. It's wrong to scam a man out of money and it's wrong to only be with a man to have sex with him to get money out of him. And unfortunately it happens all over the world. And there are men come to Thailand and enter into arrangements with several women who are only there for the money and what's sad is even though they are having sex I feel sorry for them because that's the only way they can get a woman to be with them.
