And, again, the USA is not the only other country in the world.

You wrote “wait a few months and it’ll be spring”. There is nothing wrong with my reading skills.

the USA is not the only country in the world.

And spring in the USA is not months away. Do the maths.

wow. Really? I wonder which country. Half the planet starts their spring in September, and the other half in March.

Thailand doesn’t have a spring nor a summer.

I’d never heard the term either, but the OP made it clear in her post what it means.

yes, I think you should:

- get her citizenship (and passport);

- get married;

- put 400,000 in a Thai bank - in your name only - and get your O-visa;

- have her continue to meet whatever visa requirements she needs to meet

Then, when you *want* to travel, fly out on her German passport and fly back in on her Thai passport.

Whichever passport she enters the other country on is the se one she will have to use to leave that country.

If you want to visit a neighbouring country by land, she will have to use her German passport in both directions.

She has to switch passports in the air (either on the outbound trip, or on the inbound trip).

I’m sure that that is not a problem. She will be recognised just the same as any Thai citizen who entered on a foreign passport.

I doubt that the relevant office would even know.
