Don-Laura Traub Definitely. The dead-end part was equally annoying and unnecessary. They should allow for visa conversions in country with the STV just the same.
Don-Laura Traub Interesting. Are you sure you came on a S (as in special) Tourist Visa, not the regular TR Tourist Visa by any chance. I am asking because with most visa, you can come with any health insurance, as long as they cover the minimum thresholds. But with the STV, they stated it would need to be from a Thai insurance company.
Always better to wait for factual approval, true. But is also true, that many of the grumpy naysayers (especially common in your groups as well) have simply been wrong altogether. Nobody is going to be kicked out of Thailand any time soon. COVID extensions will be extended as will be other means (like e.g. the STV) to keep people in the country. The reality of the matter is, Thailand is happy about every foreign spender right now and will allow people to come and stay accordingly.
Out of all the junk-food at 7-eleven, these are the best indeed. And (relatively speaking) one of the healthiest 7-eleven option. Just the right snack when Mao Mak Mak. If you are still slightly disciplined at the time of consumption: throw away the bread / buns and just eat that chicken.
What makes you say that COVID extensions are limited to those that cannot leave the country. Where does it say so? In reality everybody gets it - having general obstacles or inconveniences or fears has been reason enough all the time. The absolute majority of the thousands of COVID extension holders were at no point truly unable to leave. So I wish this rumor would stop.
