You dont have to travel every 90 days every 150 days. Plus if you get it sorted you get 17mths out of visa. I use it as it suits me and i dislike having to have what is in my opinion intrusive photograph of me and the mrs. To satisfy immigration

I have always done it that way. Really easy. Once your married.

Hand in paper work on day one 0900 to 1100 pick up passport next day after 1400.

Paper work needed

passport and copy of face page

Visa application form filled in and 2 pics.

Copy of wifes tabien and ID card signed by her

Fancy marriage certificate and copy both sign copy. They will look at origional and give it you back.

There a shop over the road for a small fee they will make sure you have everything correct.

No not possible in country to get a NON O multi entry. You can convert tourist visa to a 90 day NON O then extend your permision to stay based on marriage at immigration.

For the year NON O you can vizit laos Savannakhet to get the visa once married cost 5k no proof of funds needed. You getb90 day entries extend that by 60 days at immigration based on visiting wife so 5 months in country then border hop and do it all again.

EXTENSION based on Marriage you need 400k in a thai bank account in your name only which for the first extension has to be in bank for 2 months or income of 45k pm proved by letrer from your Embassy. Plus other paper work and photos.
