I thought if you leave the country and come back in you get another 45 days due to your passport. I could be wrong but hopefully someone who knows fir sure will correct me

2 easy options.

1. 60 day tourist visa then a 30 day extention once in thailand.

2. 45 passport visa exemption and do a border run and come back for another 45 days.

ahhhh. So that's no good fir me. I arrive on the 4th May. But believe I need to be in my extension period before I can apply for the covid extension.

Is that right ?

As I said. I did mine last night and I'm flying on the 3rd. The last time I did one it took about 24 hours so im praying it's quick again lol. Cost is £30. Its a bit of hassle because of what they require from you but its worth it

You can go to Thailand if you're from certain countries without a visa for 30 days and get a 30 day extension from the immigration office out there. Or you can apply fir a tr visa (60 days) before you leave from the Thai embassy In your country. If you do the latter and get the 60 day visa before leaving home you can still apply for a 30 day extension when out in thailand making a total of 90 days
