"repeating"... So you blindly take as gospel the words of a guy, whoever he may be, that when asked a question, responds with an answer that includes the words "I believe..."? Using those two words indicates he isn't sure about what he's saying. Do you disagree with that?
There's been nothing official from Thai Immigration on this yet, but read the comments in this post by Chris Nadon.
If you arrive in Thailand with some hard drugs in your possession, they will invite you to stay long term... at the place sometimes referred to as the Bangkok Hilton 😜
do you know if the Thai Embassy in India requires the balance of each of the six month's bank statements to show 500k, or is it only 500k on the most recent statement? Each Embassy might have a different requirement about that, but I just read answers to questions about this on a post in another group. When asked, the original poster replied that their Embassy accepted that while they needed to provide the latest six months statements, only the most recent statement needed to show a balance of at least 500k. It might be a good idea to ask your own country's Thai Embassy about this.
I've seen several comments over the past 18 months as this has been of interest to me, some saying the same as Terry, others same as you. I haven't gone looking into too much detail yet, as the time for me is probably going to be delayed.
Each Immigration office has their own requirements, such as a list of required documents. I've seen a comment that it's easy if you keep copies of documents for the next year(s) where a fresh one isn't required. Is that part of what makes it easy for you?
