Vietnam is FAR behind Thailand and Malaysia... infrastructure in HCM and Hanoi is appalling... they still don’t even have a MRT or transport system within the city
really? The hotels in Malaysia are paying the government kickbacks so they can guarantee themselves business.... not that it's officially stated but its well known... surprises me that the thai government isn't being paid to allow hotels to benefit from having the rooms booked
Not sure why you guys are actually debating with me over this... as I stated my comment is hypothetical... based on what they are considering with phuket they will prob trial it and if it works in the government's favour dont be surprised if they implement it elsewhere... again hypothetical.... im not the thai government and I have no idea what they will do as does nobody else
I know... thats this week... cant keep up with what the government is doing... my comment is a hypothetical statement based on what other countries are considering and what the Thai government is considering for phuket... i know whats in place right now but this guy is talking about December
I reckon even "if" they relax the rules on letting people in and allowing "tourists" they'll keep the quarantine in place until next year so people won't escape the 2 weeks in a government approved(which im sure they get kickbacks) hotel... so anyone contemplating a 1 week holiday is gonna have to factor 3 weeks at best
It's called quarantine for a reason... and there is no way of getting around it unless you are someone special to the Thai government... visiting your girlfriend doesn't fall under that category
